This single-family home had a strict budget. It was designed, permitted, and built during the pandemic… which was not a great time for budget construction! But we don’t shy away from a challenge, and the end results made the hardship worthwhile.
Context is everything when designing a major addition.
We don’t believe we follow a “style” of architecture as that would require us to force certain characteristics on projects that just don’t fit the type.
Like this major addition/ remodel project in Fremont, We allow the existing home to guide design decisions that would complement the structure while adding more charm and character to the overall residential experience.
We used Mahya's architectural and design services for our home remodel. She understood our requirements, provided functional plan and helped us get the plan approved from city. She also guided us in finalizing our General Contractor and continued to help us with our queries during the construction process.
