The interiors of this brown shingle craftsman were made up of a series of small, chopped-up spaces that did not work well together. We altered the plan layout and extended the rear of the home to create spacious rooms that flow seamlessly between each other and the outdoors.
The exterior, however, has a unique charm and character to Berkeley. It was important that we build on what works and make careful improvements that do not strip away the “quirks” of this beautiful home.
