MALIBU BATH: An ABUNDANCE of space is a LUXURY that we like to accentuate.
We were able to create an intentional, sculptural moment with the free standing vanities here by planning a separate storage and dressing area. Through the rotation of the second vanity within the space, a dialogue between the two users and a balanced appreciation of both the exterior views and the expansive bathing room is created.
The other side of the bathroom hosts an Aurora sauna, a double-shower in the center and a custom steam room cladded in marble tiles.
The plastered ripples in the ceiling begin at the operable skylight in the center. And they reflect the sunken bathtub below
